How to Move on the Star Board

Jumps do not capture. The jumped marble stays on the board, which means a single turn can chain through several different marbles and cover a huge distance if the path is open.

The heart of Chinese Checkers is building efficient jump ladders. One marble can leap over friendly and enemy marbles alike, and a well-shaped bridge often matters more than pushing the front runner one small step at a time.
